Originally from the Denver area, Rob attended USC School of Cinema/Television in Los Angeles, where he graduated with a Film/TV Production and Business degree. Over the years, he has worked in various aspects of film and video production and post production, while also serving a 5+ year stint in Internet Multimedia during the dot-com boom of the late 90's and early 2000s. For the last several years Rob has focused on independent Producing. In 2004 he produced the Short Feature "Sunday" in Dublin, Ireland. Later that same year he produced promotional/documentary content at the Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. He has also pitched reality and documentary series to various companies and studios in Hollywood. In 2006 he came on as a co-producer on Nerdcore for Life, a feature documentary about the unique musical genre known as Nerdcore Hip-Hop. The film recently premiered at the Wisconsin Film Festival April 5th, 2008 and is currently seeking theatrical distribution. To support his film ambitions, Rob works in Post Production and Internet Media. His latest assignment is Director of Operations and Production at Playground Media in Santa Monica, CA. He has recently started writing feature length content once again, while also pursuing a small slate of internet productions. Aside from work, Rob is an expert Mountain Biker. He also plays ice hockey, rides motorcycles and enjoys high-altitude hiking back in his home state of Colorado. Travel is one of his passions, and in his late 20's he completed a solo back pack trip around the world. |
